Research and Development

Here is a glimpse in how we tackle challenging projects. We use our expertise in mechanical development, rapid prototyping, design drawing and CAD to achieve high standard results. Tools like Solid Works, Rhino, FreeForm and Z-Brush as well as Photoshop and Illustrator enhance what we are able to do using FDM and SLA 3d printing, CNC Milling, and hand model making.

Carbon Fiber ABS

ABS material with the strength and rigidity of carbon fiber. It’s over 50% more stiff and 15% stronger than standard ABS.

This material offers semi-flexible parts with strong memory retention.

Somos® WaterShed produces detailed parts with superior clarity and water resistance

Flexible And Elastic Resins

These SLA Materials simulate the flexibility of rubber or TPU and can be printed in multiple durometers to meet your needs.

TPU Elastomer

TPU is a resilient thermoplastic combining flexibility and stretch with abrasion and tear resistance

Casted Silicone

We do castings in a variety of synthetic rubbers. We cast anything between a very soft and stretchy two durometer silicone and extremely firm parts up to ninety durometer.

Fourth Axis CNC Machining

We can precisely machine parts using advanced CNC processes.

CNC Machining

We can machine components for mechanisms including live springs, small gears, and other components that cannot be achieved through 3d printing.

We can add complex electronic capabilities to any project. (including but not limited to RFID-tagging, shape sorting switches, resistance id, touch sensors, motion sensors, magnetic switches, RC and IR control, sounds, lights, and motion)

Custom Lighting and Animations

Add lighting effects to any project. With color changing LEDs and light piping capabilities.

Sound effects

We can add audio to your project. We can work with your audio files, or design our own to fit your needs.

Motor Control

We can precisely control the motion of any type of motor your project could need.

2010 Hot Wheels “Ballistiks” with Mattel

These rubber figures power all of the mechanisms in these toys and we built the models to prove the performance.

The Weebles relaunch was a lot of fun to develop. We made the mechanisms for a lot of the toys.
